git commit --amend --author "Salvatore Bonaccorso <carnil@debian.org>"
should fix that, *if* you haven't done any commit since then (and if you
have, well, you know now for next time)

Copyshops should do vouchers. So that next time some bureaucracy
requires you to mail a form in triplicate, you can mail it just once,
add a voucher, and save on postage.
