No reason whatsoever, and it would have happened already except for back
to back major projects at work that have literally devoured 95% of the
time that I would otherwise spend working on Debian. :/ I have hopes,
and certainly have no objections to someone else doing this.
The intent was always to ship it for people to look at in the current
version in the archive and make it officially part in the next released
version.
