Bug#623489: developers-reference: [INTL:de] initial German translation

When I'm opening this page,

I guess that you are referring to the German index [1].

No. I've tested with http://www.debian.org/doc/developers-reference/.

  1: http://www.debian.org/doc/developers-reference/index.de.html

I can see the content in german, but all
links redirect to the english page. My browser settings are correct
(de-de, de, fr-fr, fr, en-us. en)

If it were, the normal index [2] and every internal link [3] should
offer you the German content, as explained on the website [4]. Please
note that I can't reproduce this issue (I always had this content in
French, ditto for every internal link).

Avec français, ca marche bien (içi aussi).

But German doesn't work. I've made a second test with another machine, where no debian page was stored in the cache. I will check this behavior tomorrow within another network without proxy (and therefore without proxy-cache). I hope that works.

Eventually bring this issue to debian-www@lists.debian.org with some
information if you only get the issue on this documentation and not the
other parts of the website.

On the start page is a link to the french version. Can you also add
links to german (and japanese if it works)?

Good idea, will do that later today unless someone objects.

Thanks.

The contents are strange formatted: The font of some names is bold (e.g.
debdiff, dcut, dpkg-depcheck)

You must be referring to<command>bold stuff</command>. I'm perfectly
fine with them but I guess we could configure something else than
<strong> to “translate”<command> in HTML (if it really annoys you,
please open another bug report in order to track this issue).

It's not important.

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards,
Chris
