Kind of, in the Developer's Reference. There isn't a lot of things like
this in there now, but it might be worth exploring whether a set of best
practices could be maintained there. (This is separate from the question
of whether this in particular would be a good best practice, of course;
it's more about finding the right place to have that discussion.)
