Bug#99324: Re: pics

It has come to our attention that internet spammers have been sending out a massive amount of e-mails to look as though they are coming from Funky Bacon Entertainment, using random yet non-existant e-mail addresses with our domain attached to them (such as askfd@funkybacon.com). We as a company do not spam, and you may rest assured that we have nothing to do with this. Unfortunately, since the e-mails being sent out are using forged headers, and do not actually pass through any of our servers or equipment, there is nothing we can do to stop this flood of spam.

Since these e-mails with forged headers that are undeliverable have return addresses listed at funkybacon.com, we are now receiving thousands of these messages sent to addresses that do not exist, or are using spam trappers, back to our servers. As a result, we are now rerouting any mail that is not sent to a legitimate FBE e-mail address to a junk e-mail address that no one will either check or read.

If you are receiving this message, you have either attempted to send an e-mail to an address at funkybacon.com that does not exist, have responded to one of these spam e-mails, or are a spammer who thinks they might be clever.

If you need to get in touch with a FBE representative and do not know an e-mail address to do so, please visit our contact page and send an inquiry to the appropriate address. We apologize for any inconviniece.
