Package: packaging-manual
Version: 3.0.1.1
Severity: wishlist

Please include the skeleton maintainer scripts from Charles Briscoe Smith
<http://www.debian.org/Lists-Archives/debian-dpkg-9804/msg00004.html>
into the packaging manual. It seems to me there has been consensus on the
list to include them and I think they would be very helpful, especially as
the treatment in the relevant packaging manual section (6) is very brief.

In case they are included somewhere else and I just haven't found them:
please reference them in the manual.

Thanks
