Hello Carlos,
In that case, I think you should report that as a bug in
mozilla-firefox. Uncompressing a gzip'ed file is usually faster than
reading it because your CPU is much faster than your hard-disk, and I 
don't see why mozilla-firefox should reread the file again and again.
