Package: menu
Version: 2.1.5-6
Severity: wishlist

It might be a good idea to point it more explicitly that one can find a good
collection of "hints" by doing a grep hints /usr/lib/menu/*, maybe in a
README.hints ? At least until we have some sort of policy or another
official guide for which hints to use...

Hi,

> The official list of 'hints' and their definition need to be part of the menu
> policy manual, not of the menu manual.

Why is that? Why should this be hard coded into slow moving
policy, rather than being freely extended by the menu package? There
is a legitimate need for this information to be present; but since
the maintainer is trying to use the menu package, the documentation
of that package needs to be consulted.
