Not at all, I don't maintain adduser, I was just offering some
research on the extent of the issue, as contrasted against the
huge number of packages that need libc6 to be available at all
times.

I do note, however, that the author of adduser seems to have
included specific code to ensure operation even when faced with
certain classes of broken systems.

I heard it was nasty (fortunately I was not tracking the affected
