In 11.4:

You may wish to restrict your script to POSIX features when possible
so that it may use `/bin/sh' as its interpreter. If your script works
with `ash', it's probably POSIX compliant, but if you are in doubt,
     use `/bin/bash'.

Debian's ash seems to be renamed to dash now. I suggest changing the
clause to "with `posh' or `dash'", since posh is less forgiving of POSIX
incompatibilities.

Hi,

The primary issue raised by this bug is long fixed. The secondary issue was a
mere suggestion, it's been disputed and then there was no action in months.
