Bug#140757: debian-policy: init.d script shouldn't be executable by non-root
* Johan Walles
| When my neophyte girlfriend tries to do "/etc/init.d/gdm stop" as
| non-root it does run, but says (erroneously):
|
| Stopping GNOME Display Manager: gdm not running.
|
| This is obviously a permissions problem. One solution for it would be
| to disallow non-root users to run the scripts in /etc/init.d. Thus, I
| would like to see the following text appended to 10.3.2:
This is one way of solving it, though I think it is the wrong
solution. init scripts should check that they have the proper rights
and refuse to work else.
