"clear"? I don't see how it would be a copyright violation at all.

Bugfixes are usually too small to be protected by copyright. A few
lines don't matter, and neither do corrections where there is only
a limited number of ways to fix the code. Copyright is only an
issue when a patch makes significant changes. (This is because
copyright protects creative expression, not the ideas behind it.)
In any case, I don't see the relationship between copyright and
changelog entries.
