Can any ftp client provide "ftp-client"?
What about X clients?
Or, put another way, what packages, if any, would
Depend/Recommend/Suggest/Conflict with ftp-client, and why?
I guess packages you should look at include: webcam, task-dialup(?),
dftp, urlview(?), devscripts, quinn-diff(?) (quick glance through my
Packages file at packages that depend/suggest/recommend ftp, ncftp,
or lftp).
This is the problem I faced when I considered making it a virtual
package previously. I am not sure that a package which depends on ftp
would work with ncftp, for instance.
Somebody suggested to use ftp-client-traditional (or was that
traditional-ftp-client?) instead.
