Package: anarchism
Version: 8.2-1
Severity: wishlist

I noticed that since Potato became frozen, the anarchism package has
only been updated in Woody. This is, of course, compliant to Debian
Policy; but still I feel it's senseless-- the package has no code on
it, only text, and it's not related to a version of any particular
program, so I don't see any reason why a _code freeze_ should apply to
it. This could be considered a bug in the Policy; feel free to
reassign the report if you think so.

The Release Manager has to decide what to let into the frozen distro
and what not. So this is not really a policy decision. Could you
imagine the amount of extra work he would have if doc only packages
didn't have the same rules? And what if mistakes were made in them.

So I'm closing this report; sorry.

   Julian
