Oh, right... it seems that it's a change that wouldn't break anything, since
it's set up to root.mail already /and it's been like that for a while now/.

I'd like to hear it, too. And a rationale why mailboxes must be writable by
group mail... it works otherwise (e.g. 600 or 640 permissions), I don't see
a reason for that.

Eeek -- if your decision would be final, that would mean concentrating
decision-making power in one sole person... I don't like that.
