In a console-only environment, the admin shouldn't be forced to install a
bunch of X fonts.  There is at least one console program that is doing so:
bitchx.  :)

I'd rather see the font(s) bitchx provides split into their own package.
They certainly have potential utility beyond a single IRC client.
