dpkg -l is (IMHO) very frustrating. Just when you want to find out
what kernels you have installed and no longer need:
[8:11am] hamish@silly:~> dpkg -l | grep kernel
ii ipx 2.2.0.17-1 Utilities to configure the kernel ipx interf
ii kernel-image-2 silly.2 Linux kernel binary image.
ii kernel-image-2 silly.1 Linux kernel binary image.
ii kernel-package 7.04.potato.1 Debian Linux kernel package build scripts.
... the useful part of the package name is cut off.
