Maybe, maybe not. Debhelper is great if the package fits into the GNU
mold. On others, it's not a lot of help. Given the times I have had to
go in and figure out what dh_<something> was doing, and either fix it or
adjust my thinking, the overall balance can shift against debhelper.

(I'm *not* slamming debhelper, it's a great tool and all of my packages
use it. But there are complicated or weird packages where it may not be
the best choice.)
