I do have an interest -- I'm not concerned about the speed benefits,
but I very much do have an interest.
In particular, I care about:
(1) impact on my packages,
(2) impact on a decent source package system.
At the moment, I'm convinced that your proposal would have a neutral or
positive on both. Then again, I'd felt that in the past and wound up
changing my mind after the proposal changed.
I'm sorry you felt it necessary to flame me so many times -- and I wish
you'd managed to stay focussed on the technical issues. But I really
do have an interest.
