Can someone talk to the Hurd people about this? It seems bad that a
hurd configure script would fail if the string "hurd" is passed to it
instead of the string "gnu".
In the mean time, then, if I understand correctly, the only arch
string that will allow proper compilation is "i386-gnu"?
