Because dwww requires essentially apache, though with effort it can work with other things. Either way, that requires setting up a webserver other than dhttp (which would be extremely cool if it had limited (enough for dwww) cgi support) and the resources involved with doing so. Do you run apache on your 386/16 notebook machine with 4 megs of RAM and a 200 meg hard drive? I sure wouldn't!
