Problems syncing with a m500

Hi everybody,

I've got a m500 and it refuses to sync on USB with jpilot.
The palm is recognized as i can see in /proc/bus/usb/devices.
I use an original kernel 2.4.18, jpilot 0.99.2-cvs-20020516-1 and
pilot-link 0.10.99-0.2 (found on
http://master.debian.org/~bgdarnel/pilot-link/).

I tried the modules uhci and usb-uhci with the same lack of results.
I've got no errors message and i tried
      $ jpilot -d
with no success.

I'm completely lost and need help thanx.
