kpilot/gnome-pilotd
I'm running woody/unstable debian (and have been proudly for quite some
time now), and am syncing a Palm IIIe via IrDA with linux kernel 2.2.18.
Now, for the longest time, jpilot was the only thing decent to sync
with. Now, there's kpilot and gnome-pilotd--both of which purport to
have neato conduits that sync address and datebook information with
external apps--which I'd really love to do. However, for the life of
me, I can't get either set of these to work. kpilot's conduits crash
every time I try to use them with a nasty error. And gnome-pilot's
conduits don't blow up, but neither do they work. gnome-pilotd seems to
think all went well when it hot-syncs, but neither gnomecard nor
gnomecal have any of the information that they were supposed to.
I'm just curious. Has anybody else gotten kpilot or gnome-pilotd's
conduits to work decently to the point that you can actually use
external datebook and calendar apps to work with pilot data?
