Please add libvideo-info-perl to the list of non-free packages which get autobuilt. I've just set "XS-Autobuild: yes" in debian/control in the 0.993-4 upload. Technically there's nothing special about the package; the reason it's in non-free since the beginning (2009) is the AFPL license.
