Bug#869429: vile: Uninstallable after BinNMU / not binNMU-safe
Package: vile
Version: 9.8s-1
Severity: serious
User: debian-perl@lists.debian.org
Usertags: perl-5.26-transition
After the BinNMU for rebuilding against Perl 5.26, vile has the
following unsatisfiable dependencies:
Depends: vile-common (= 9.8s-1), vile-common (= 9.8s-1+b1), […]
This can be solved by any sourceful upload, but it should be fixed
permanently by making the package BinNMU-safe.
So please do either of these things:
* Do a sourceful no-changes upload, referring, but not closing this
bug report and then downgrade the severity of it to "important, or
* Clone this bug, make one "uinstallable" and the other one "not
binNMU-safe", fix the former with an sourceful upload and downgrade
the latter to "important", or even better:
* Make the package binNMU-safe and close this bug. :-)
