The audience for DevNews is d-d-a subscribers, so packagers with
plenty of command-line experience.
What you have written now is more like a promotional post for the cme
blog or Planet Debian.
For DevNews the content is usually much shorter (1 or 2 paragraphs)
and in less of a promotional style.
I would also mention the automatic configuration file upgrade stuff.
