Packaging my first Debian module

Dear all,

I'm having a complete Google-fail here. Could somebody please point me
in the direction of the documentation that I need to read in order to
package my first Debian Perl module?

I know it's Out There, as I've read it before, but can't find it now.

Is there any other tips/advice that I should be aware of?

(For info, I am going to package DPKG::Parse, in aid of #774074).
