Hm, the question is, as for all our dual-lived modules, if we can be
sure that no other package will need a newer Socket.pm than the one
in perl core.

And there seem to be some (b)deps (maybe alternatives? Haven't
checked … Still, with dak rm I get the same results):

% reverse-depends libsocket-perl
Reverse-Recommends
==================
* libio-socket-ssl-perl
* nagios-plugins-contrib

Reverse-Depends
===============
* libio-async-perl
* libio-socket-ip-perl
* libpoe-component-client-http-perl

% reverse-depends -b libsocket-perl
Reverse-Build-Depends-Indep
===========================
* libio-async-perl
* libio-socket-ip-perl
* libio-socket-ssl-perl
* libpoe-component-client-http-perl

Cheers,
