perl-script package to pkg-perl

Hello,

I packaged a perl script to run as daemon, details in ITP [1] and in repo [2].
Would it be suitable for git/pkg-perl? If so, could you please grant
me write access to create a repo there? So far I have write access
only to git/pkg-java. My Alioth account is eugene-guest.

I would also appreciate if someone could have a look at the perl
script itself. There is a comment: "Only requires perl 5.002 with
Socket and strict modules, HTTP and base64 code has been embedded."
Shall I remove some part(s) and add some (module) dependency to
d/control instead? I am a perl newbie.
