Is this needed due to some dependency?

Otherwise I would recommend against packageing it as the documentation
clearly states that the module is no longer being developed or
supported.

The use of 'Taint-aware' seems to be different from the normal perl
usage of the word tainted. In the documentation it is defined as "None
of the input data is executed." which is quite different from the 'perl
-T' meaning.

I also find the XML-*ish* parts a bit worrying.
