Introduction - Dave Walker (Daviey)
Hi,
My name is Dave Walker (Daviey), as per the Debian Perl Group welcome
page I am sending this email to introduce myself. I have opened an
Alioth account in the name of 'Daviey' (-guest?).
My main consumption of Debian is actually via Ubuntu, where I have been
a contributor for some time across a range of packages; specialising in
ones in the server area.
I have been wanting to contribute to Debian development for some time
now, and this feels like a good opportunity. I'd be quite interested in
3 NEW packages I would like to get reviewed and sponsored into Debian,
and sync to Ubuntu; rather than just uploading to Ubuntu. Naturally, I
am keen to resolve issues that affect Debian aswell. I hope that I will
be able to contribute help to resolve issues in other packages, where I
can.
I have made a first pass of the three packages which are:
- alice - 0.19-1 (https://github.com/leedo/alice)
- libirc-formatting-html-perl - 0.29-1
- libplack-middleware-session-perl - 0.14-1
I am yet to raise ITP for these, and will do shortly.
