I must admit that I was a bit sad to see this e-mail, and cannot
believe that it has been a few years already. I will second gregor's
comment that we will not let you escape :-)
You were one of the greybeards when I joined the group (hehe, and it's
still fun to call you guys that), and I still frequently come across
packages bearing your name (if not in Uploaders, then at least in the
changelog and in the copyright file). You have made an immense
contribution to Debian, and through the Perl group, also to Debian's
Perl community. This has some real implications to the communities we
support and benefit from, particularly the CPAN.
Thank you for your time and the huge amount of work you have put into
making the Debian Perl group as successful as it is today. I hope you
are as proud of your accomplishments as I am grateful to have
benefitted from them. I wish you all the best in your future
endeavours!
