I didn't receive that mail.  That's a bummer, because that mail would
have saved me a lot of time and unnecessary work.

True, but that was before I had read Ansgar's mail today and thought
that the non-XS package could someday be packaged by someone else, and
therefore leave `libunicode-collate-perl' for him/her.

I introduced the Conflicts so it would only install if perl-modules
was updated, so I purposefully designed it that it would be
uninstallable ATM.
I'll upload a new version under `libiunicode-collate-perl' and ask the
FTP Masters to remove `libiunicode-collate-xs-perl'.
