Maildirsync package
Hi all Perl folks,
I've just realized that, apart from modules, the Perl team also
maintains a bunch of Perl applications. Looking at the list of these
packages, it seems to me that, while some of them are obviously related
to modules packaging and development (namely dh-make-perl, pmtools and
so on), others aren't (ie: clive, latexdiff, ...).
As such, I was wondering if it could be possible|viable|desiderable to
put the maildirsync package [0] under the Perl team umbrella. The old
maintainer filed a RFA [1] long ago and currently I'm owning the ITA but
lacking a sponsor so far. If viable, I'll try to include an updated
version into squeeze (at this point requiring a blocking exception as
for #356207 [2] ).
Ciao,
Gian Piero.
