This is the part that matters most:
 
400 All tests successful.
401 Files=6, Tests=67, 18 wallclock secs ( 0.10 usr  0.02 sys + 7.52 cusr  0.99 csys =  8.63 CPU)
402 Result: PASS

There are some directory read failures attempting to 
look for /usr/lib/ladspa.

That happens as a result of 'make test'. 
It doesn't happen when running the application
normally.

Thanks, I'll do that.
 
In other news, I got cowbuilder working. What had happened
is that during the first run, /etc/pbuilderrc got set up
with MIRROR=debian-multimedia.org, which is the first line
in my /etc/sources.list.
