As a general hint:
http://pkg-perl.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/pet.cgi
will show packages in the "Ready for upload" section after the
s/UNRELEASED/unstable/ (before that they are "Work in Progress").
As soon as they are in the "Ready for upload" section someone will
come around and review them, and either upload them or set them to
UNRELEASED and add comments to the changelog (and/or mail/ask on IRC
...)
