I noticed recently that alioth supports both wsvn and viewsvn for browsing the SVN repositories. Due to the fact that we have hundrets of packages, wsvn is a bit uncomfortable to work with as it shows a giant tree[1] when you simply want to browse a directory under some package. Besides of rendering WebSVN unpleasant to work with, I imagine it also places a much heavier that needed load on alioth (the page took 30s to load the first time). [1] http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-perl/trunk/dh-make-perl/?rev=0&sc=0 So I've added support for ViewSVN (a ViewCVS clone) in PET. It is configurable via the configuration file as before, and WebSVN is checked for first, as before. Our instance of PET already uses ViewSVN. If you notice some problems, lart me. Any idea how to promote the change to other groups that use PET? -- dam JabberID: dam@jabber.minus273.org
