How does this compare with the various JSON-related modules in Perl?
libconfig-json-perl - A parser for JSON-based configuration files
libjson-any-perl - wrapper class for the various JSON classes
libjson-perl - Perl module to parse and convert to JSON (JavaScript Object Notation).
libjson-xs-perl - Perl module for JSON serialising/deserialising
Of course, if this is a prerequisite for
libcgi-application-plugins-perl, I don't have much to say :)
