David,Hi Damyan,
Hello David and Damyan,
Sorry it is not working for, but I am glad I am not the only one having problems with svn-inject.Since it seems this package is supposed to be maintained by the Debian Perl Group, do you mind injecting it in the group's repository? If youare not a member yet, just ask to be added, noting your alioth account name.I'm already a member of Pkg-perl, but I'm not really fond of svn-inject. I can't reliably use it -- I've used it only a few times for pkg-xfce :(.
$ svn-inject -l 2 libsvg-perl_2.34-1.dsc svn+ssh://hanska-guest@svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-perl/ Use of uninitialized value in addition (+) at /usr/bin/svn-inject line 142.
I sent a patch to fix this.
cp- -l /deb/repository/libsvg-perl/libsvg-perl_2.34.orig.tar.gz /deb/ repository/libsvg-perl/tarballsmkdir -p branches/upstream/libsvg-perl tar -z -x -f /deb/repository/libsvg-perl/libsvg-perl_2.34.orig.tar.gz mv SVG-2.34 currentsvn -q import -m [svn-inject] Installing original source of libsvg- perl. svn+ssh://hanska-guest@svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-perl svn: File already exists: filesystem '/svn/pkg-perl/db', transaction '7300-1', path 'branches' Command svn -q import -m [svn-inject] Installing original source oflibsvg-perl . svn+ssh://hanska-guest@svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-perl failedin <unknown>, how to continue now? [Qri?]: q Aborting.
I get the same error. (Furthermore, if I give i as input, it claims that the svn operation is successful and that I am in the directory of the package I injected, both those claims are false in my case.)
Removing tempdir /tmp/tmp.jAAWPC2702.
I think svn-inject is passing incorrect args to svn, but I have to investigate more.
