Hi,
Please, just to avoid confusion: If you upload a package through the
pkg-perl SVN archive, _don't_ submit it to mentors. Why? Well, first
because we are different groups - I know who to tell when I work on
pkg-perl stuff, but I'm not active in the mentors.debian.net sphere,
and probably people won't notice. But more important: In the pkg-perl
group, we follow our packages' flow in Debian by tagging them when we
upload. If the upload is done by somebody outside the group, it won't
be tagged. And it's not a big loss, but it breaks a bit our way of
working.
That said, I'll dig a bit into your package, as it fails to build:

If Test::Pod::Coverage is not installed, it builds correctly - And as
it is not listed as a build-dependency, that's not really _our_ bug,
but upstream's. Now, my question is: Why does upstream use a testing
framework it does not comply with? How would you report this bug to
the upstream author? Even better: What do you think would be needed to
correct it?
Yes, I know I'm not your AM or anything like that, but as a newcomer
to the pkg-perl group, I want you to get fluent in what we do ;-) I
could upload the package as it is (it won't break as long as it is
built in a controlled environment, i.e. in any environment without
libtest-pod-coverage-perl installed), but it is not... Right :)
