They are on CPAN but aren't they also in the branches/upstream/xx
directory of the archive?
Probably, but shouldn't then svn-buildpackage take care of it?
Ok, I guess I could find out by myself, but right now I'm to lazy... :-)

Hi,
I uploaded that numbercruncher.
For the following, as they are new to debian, where do I get the
upstream orig tar file? As the regular way (svn co ../trunk,
svn-buildpackage) does produce a native package, as it does not find the
upstream tarball.
Thanks,
Joachim

Hello All again.
I have uploaded two new packages to be checked and sent on to the Debian
archive it they are OK. They have both been ITPed and I added the notes
about bug closing in the changelog.
The packages are:
libmath-derivative-perl
libmath-spline-perl
Thanks for the assistance,
Carlo
