When I was first debianizing the libtemplate-perl (Template Toolkit) package, I had an interactive Makefile.PL (using Makemaker I believe). Since then, the author has added the ability to configure the packages by preseeding answers and calling the script non-interactively. Of course, this was at least a year ago. Is there a common way to do this now? Is it being enforced? If the answer to either question is no, , I suspect we will run into a quite a number of problem cases although I'd love to be told I'm wrong. :) Regards, Mako -- Benjamin Mako Hill mako@debian.org http://mako.yukidoke.org/
