[please CC me on replies] I think perl-policy 3.4.3. is a bit ambigous when talking about "the dependencies". When I read the paragraph I thought that dh_perl, in good tradition of dh_shlibdeps, computes the dependencies for used perl libraries as well, which is not the case. Maybe the fact that dh_perl only provides a dependency on the current perl package should be made more clear. Of course beefing up dh_perl to have the functionality would be nicer ... but I don't see how one could easily do this correctly. (A pseudopackage "perl-policy" where such wishlist items could be put would be a good thing.) -- Robbe
