It's done:
$ perl -V
Summary of my perl5 (revision 5.0 version 6 subversion 0) configuration:
[elision runs rampant]
@INC:
/usr/lib/perl5/i386-linux
/usr/lib/perl5
/usr/lib/perl5/5.6/i386-linux
/usr/lib/perl5/5.6
/usr/local/lib/site_perl/i386-linux
/usr/local/lib/site_perl
/usr/lib/perl5/5.005/i386-linux
/usr/lib/perl5/5.005
.
Binary modules compiled under 5.005 can (and do) work under 5.6.
This was some issue specifically with DBI. Check out Bug#77187 for
more.
