Re: Boot-Floppies: perl task package
You didn't say what the task-perl list is supposed to embody. I think a lot
of the packages you've got on it are specialty modules, I wouldn't recommend
them as part of a general Perl runtime or development environment. I'd
include at least these in that category:
perl2html
libdbi-perl
libgnome-perl
liblocale-gettext-perl
libio-stringy-perl
libipc-signal-perl
libtime-period-perl
libtimedate-perl
libdelimmatch-perl
libdbd-csv-perl
libdbd-mysql-perl
libfile-sync-perl
libfile-tail-perl
liblockdev0-perl
I recommend removing them all. That would leave:
libcgi-perl
libcompress-zlib-perl
libdatecalc-perl
libdevel-symdump-perl
libdigest-md5-perl
libhtml-parser-perl
libhtml-tree-perl
libmime-base64-perl
libmime-perl
libnet-dns-perl
libnet-perl
libnet-telnet-perl
liburi-perl
libwww-perl
I think these are of general utility and interest.
