Have you verified them if they work?  One good example is zfs userspace
daemon[1], please make a thorough test if everything works as expected.
And consider some further questions: what functionalities are missing?
For example, systemd advocates itself for socket activation, do you want
to implement that and how?  How about daemon supervising?  Will
translation to OpenRC cleaner then SysV initscript?  They will finally
because part of your project proposal.

You will need to learn packaging Debian because ultimately your work
will be packaged and uploaded to Debian to benefit more users.  The
Debian New Maintainers Guide is a good starting point.  Get to know and
use Debian Salsa Gitlab.

Also get familiar with Debian community, install Debian and OpenRC on
your hosts in addition to virtual machines, report and fix bugs during
your daily use, no matter if they are directly related to this project.
