Re: number of slots in gsoc



Hi,
We have received in total of 6 slots and are still looking at the distribution.

There is no rule/guarantee that every project will get a student selected. It all depends on the proposals, mentors feedback about those proposals and the amount of slots which Google assign to us.

We won't be able to comment any further on this and would suggest waiting for the official student selection announcement from GSoC as per the guidelines.

I am sorry if the previous mails caused any confusion.
