Hi, mentors! I'm Jongmin Kim, a Debian enthusiast, started using Debian from "squeeze". Now I'm administrating 20+ Debian systems, including several web servers and full-distributed research systems such as Apache Hadoop clusters. I'm going to apply for a project "Package Loomio for Debian" in GSoC. By doing the project, I'll have an excellent experience by packaging the large web programme, and learn the way packaging in Ruby, JS and more other languages. And by fixing the bugs in the project, I'll get an amount of opportunities to contribute a bunch of Open Source Softwares. And the most thing, I'll improve my communication skills. Last year, I attended and packaged my first package in DebConf18, and became interested in Debian packaging. For the next eight months, I packaged some small dependencies with some people from the Debian Go Packaging Team. I have been communicating mainly through mailing lists and Matrix. And, I have some experiences with drawing a dependency tree. I believe these experiences will help progressing the project. I've only packaged Go packages so far, and I have to learn how to package Ruby and JS. I now learn them by performing the Application Tasks, and will try making a great proposal. FYI, I'm an undergraduate, towards a bachelor's in computer software engineering. And this is my first GSoC entry. Any advice and suggestion will be appreciated! Thank you!
