Bug#974220: libreoffice-writer: Double paste in Writer

Hi Rene

Could be a problem between KDE and GTK, so I tried a copy & paste from terminal (konsole) to Kate (text editor for KDE, like gedit) and Inkscape. Was normal using "Ctrl+v". When I tried (other time) in Writer, pasted in double again.

Other thing was to del the local folders of LO (.config/libreoffice and .config/soffice.binrc), but without success. Nothing.

I believe that works fine in your environment, so my question is: what can I do to get more information?

On the other hand, I will create a VM and try again this question.

Regards,
Claudio Ferreira

As for your other bug,  this is IMHO not "important".

Tried it with konsole and konqueror (as you use KDE) and with firefox to
try a non-KDE program.

Oh my.

I thought about some x11 vs. wayland difference but a) my VM says x11
anyway and b) it looks like you use drivers outside of Debian for some
graphic chips of a company I am not going to name... which apparently
then forces x11 anyway.

Long story short: works here.

Just thinking out loud: Some extra clipboard stuff or stuff doing
something with the clipboard running? But then it might also happen on
the context menu...

Rene
