As said in the upstream bug: Can reproduce in a VM - but only with gtk2
as UI. gtk3, qt5 (and possible kde5) work fine.
Do you use xfce or somesuch and/or have only libreoffice-gtk2 installed
instead of libreoffice-gtk3? xfce in testing by now is gtk3, too, so you
should use libreoffice-gtk3 if you use xfce.
In any case, no idea whether it will be fixed, the gtk2 UI is gone from
LibreOffice 6.4 onwards.
